MC Command Center Hotfix 4.4.5 is out!

Debug commands are not a MCCC feature, although they look like being one. The debug commands are a part of the original game and not part of a mod. You can see it the way you use it: you have to Shift-Click on an object or your sim to get access to debug commands. Usually they are hidden, but with MCCC you can make them visible. Click Download and The Sims 4 will start to download in your Origin Library. Once the download is complete, you’ll be able to launch The Sims 4 and start playing. Transfer saves files from PC to Mac. Though The Sims 4 doesn’t support Origin cloud storage, transferring your save files between the PC and Mac versions of the game is easy.

  • Another test that can be done is to remove MCCC and run the game with all other mods/cc but NO MCCC. After running the game that way, check the Sims 4 folders for new LastExceptions. You’ll find that a new one gets generated there regardless of whether MCCC is in the game. MCCC only notifies the user that LE’s are being generated.

The newest public release for MCCC/MC Woohoo is 4.4.5. This is my last Seasons hotfix. As of this point, all major functionality is working as expected. I’m sure there will be little things that are broken that we haven’t found yet, but nothing that affects a majority of players on a daily basis or anything.

Fixes for this hotfix:

  • This hotfix allows Sims 4 to load into lots with MCCC installed. There are no errors thrown by the initial loading.
  • Fixed a problem with households with more than 8 Sims that prevented the lots from loading.
  • Fixed an issue with Game Time Speed that was preventing it from working.
  • Fixed an issue with Maximum Sims on Lot setting causing exceptions when Walkby situations were generated.
  • Fixed problems with some of the MC Dresser setting dialogs that were getting errors due to the new outfits added for seasons.
  • Added Hot Weather and Cold Weather to the list of valid outfits that can be used for some of the MC Dresser options (like outfit to change into after completing work).
  • Fixed a problem with Kill Sim that caused it to log an error.
  • Added new death types for Pet Stuff, Jungle Adventures and Seasons to the “Kill Sim” death types.
  • Fixed a problem with the MC Cheats-triggered “Vampire Invasion” that was throwing an error and not working.

Keep in mind, if you’re getting Last Exception errors, these are not caused by MCCC but by other mods/cc that have been broken by this release. I can’t fix those!

This has been tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Together, Dine Out, City Life, Vampires, Parenthood, Cats & Dogs, Jungle Adventures, Seasons and the patch released June 19, 2018 PC 1.44.77.1020 / Mac 1.44.77.1220. It will also work with anything after that Sims 4 update unless otherwise specified on Tumblr/Patreon posts I make after the update. Earlier Sims 4 versions may not be compatible so we often do not support anything below the specified version here!
